Felix Ritzinger wins the 3rd stage of the Tour of Mauritius 2024 (UCI 2.2)

Today, the top performances of the trade fair city team at the Tour of Mauritius 2024 (UCI 2.2) came to a crowning conclusion: On the 3rd stage over 116 kilometers from Le Morne to Plain Magnien, Felix Ritzinger secured the day's victory and thus his 3rd stage victory in 2024. The Viennese wins the last section of the tour ahead of his teammate Patryk Stosz, who was already victorious on the 1st stage. Piotr Brozyna defends the yellow jersey he won yesterday and thus wins the overall ranking of the tour with a clear lead. "An absolutely top performance from our team, winning all stages of a tour is something very special," says racing director Paul Renger, who looks after the team in Mauritius.

Ritzinger wins with a lead of 2:20 minutes

Today's stage was a clear win for Felix Ritzinger. With a lead of 2:20 minutes, the track pro took the day's victory after 2:41:15 hours. On the final laps, Ritzinger attacked from a nine-strong leading group and secured victory without any problems. Teammate Patryk Stosz won the sprint of the pursuers ahead of South African Jaco Venter (Team Faucon Flacq KFC Pepsi Cycling Club). The overall ranking went to Piotr Brozyna after his daring ride yesterday. The Wels cyclist is in 21st place today and wins with a total time of 10:00:50 hours, 2:30 minutes ahead of Alexandre Mayer (Team Mauritius) and 03:08 minutes ahead of Cypriot Andreas Miltiadis (Terengganu Cycling Team).
