Victory for Felix Ritzinger on the 2nd stage the Tour of Malopolska 2024

Felix Ritzinger won the 2nd stage of the Tour of Malopolska 2024 (UCI 2.2) today. The Viennese cyclist won the 155-kilometer section from Wielicka to Nowy Targ and celebrated a great success with his Felt Felbermayr Wels team. Ritzinger was able to pull away from the field after just 7 kilometers with 4 other riders. On the last climb and the subsequent descent, the Felt Felbermayr professional cyclist got away from his escape companions and rushed towards the finish with a second rider who was still able to catch up. In the final, Ritzinger had the better end and, after his stage win at the Tour of Hellas, is already celebrating his second tour stage victory in 2024. In the sprint of the pursuers, Paryk Stosz took 4th place. With a courageous performance, Ritzinger also takes the lead in the sprint classification of the tour. “Our race plan worked completely and Felix showed a really strong performance today. “We will attack again fully in the final section tomorrow,” said racing director Rupert Hödlmoser.
