The lead is enough for Ricci Zoidl's second tour victory within just 14 days

The difficult last section of the tour in Poland over 126 kilometers from Jablonka with the long final climb to Przehyba at 1,142 meters above sea level was unspectacular for a long time, before after 100 kilometers Felt Felbermayr professional cyclist Pjotr Brozyna initiated an attempt to break away with a few other riders, but they were caught again . On the final climb, Riccardo Zoidl attacked and, together with Marton Dina from the ATT Investments team, broke away from the peloton. With 3 kilometers to go, he was able to shake off his escape companion and win the stage after 3:02:54 hours with a lead of 23 seconds. This time credit was enough to overtake the Hungarian in the overall classification and take the tour victory with a lead of 12 seconds. Teammate Felix Ritzinger also secured the sprint classification of the tour. “I’m really happy about the win. I really wanted to attack on the approach to the final climb and dominate the race from the front, this tactic worked completely. The fact that it was enough to win the tour is of course brilliant,” said Ricci Zoidl.
